Deployed Location
Definition:
The Deployed Location refers to the actual worksite or client location where the employee is currently assigned to perform their duties. This may be different from the company’s base or work location.
Example:
An employee’s work location is the company headquarters in Bangalore.
But they are deployed at a client site in Hyderabad for a project.
→ In this case, Hyderabad is the Deployed Location.
Purpose:
Helps in tracking where employees are physically posted.
Useful for project management, compliance, and travel reimbursements.
Important for shift planning, attendance tracking, and safety protocols.
Where it is used in HRMS:
Employee profile section.
Reports (attendance, shift, location-wise headcount).
During onboarding or project allocation.
How to Update:
Go to the Employee Profile.
Click on the Work/Deployment Details tab.
Select the appropriate Deployed Location from the dropdown.
Save the changes.
