Salary Component:
Step 1: Accessing HRMS Bharat Payroll
· Open your web browser and navigate to the URL provided for accessing HRMS Bharat Payroll.
· Log in using your username and password credentials.
· After successful login, you will be directed to the main dashboard of HRMS Bharat Payroll.
Step 2: Navigating to Salary Components Setup
· Locate the "Salary Components" menu on the dashboard.
· Click on the "Salary Components" menu to access configuration options.
Step 3: Accessing Salary Components Section
· Within the configuration section, find and click on the "Salary Components" option.
· This will open the Salary Components setup module where you can configure salary-related components.
Step 4: Creating Salary Group
· Locate the option to "Create Salary Group" or similar.
· Click on it to define a new salary group.
Step 5: Defining Salary Component Details
· Enter the details for the new salary group, including:
- Component name (e.g., Basic Salary, Allowance, Bonus, Deduction)
- Type of component (earnings or deductions)
- Taxability status (taxable or non-taxable)
- Calculation method (fixed amount or percentage of another component)
· Set up any additional parameters or conditions based on your payroll requirements.
Step 6: Setting Up Calculation Rules
· Configure specific rules for calculating the salary component, such as:
Formula for calculation (e.g., fixed amount, percentage-based)
Conditions or triggers for applying the component (e.g., based on employee category, attendance, performance)
Step 7: Saving Salary Component
· Click "Save" or "Update" to finalize the salary component details.
Step 8: Viewing and Managing Salary Components
· Navigate back to the Salary Components section to view the list of configured components.
· Edit or delete existing components as needed by selecting the respective options.
Step 9: Assigning Salary Components to Employees
· Go to the employee's profile or salary details section.
· Assign the relevant salary components to the employee by selecting from the list of configured components.
Step 10: Testing Salary Components
· Generate a sample payslip to verify salary component accuracy.
Step 11: Logging Out
· After setting up salary components, log out of HRMS Bharat Payroll for security reasons.
· Locate the "Logout" or"Sign Out"option in the top-right corner of the screen and click on it.
